The 2016 Yellowstone Rendezvous Race will once again be part of the American Ski Marathon Series – North America’s longest-running and largest citizen’s racing and touring series – that highlights long distance ski events throughout the country. In the past, the race has attracted over 800 skiers and we are hoping to top that this coming year. For a complete set of results, click on the “Results” tab at the top of the page. We hope that you will register for this season’s race today and come see all that West Yellowstone has to offer.
Back this year: Montana Stars event photographers will be taking photos of all race participants. Action photos from the 2014 race will be available for viewing and purchase online at www.montanastars.com.
The Yellowstone Rendezvous Race organizers and volunteers thank you for your participation in this outstanding cross country ski event. Race organizers would also like to thank Holiday Inn West Yellowstone and the other generous sponsors and supporters that help make the event possible. During the week before the race, skiers flock to West Yellowstone to scope out the race course and to take advantage of the race’s proximity to Yellowstone National Park. Although spring is on the horizon, March is still wintertime in the high country. Envision images of bison and elk afloat in misty snowscapes painted with steamy hot springs and glistening white powder.
Put the Yellowstone Rendezvous Race on your calendar – Saturday March 5, 2016 – and get ready for another great race!
